30. Októbra v neskorých večerných hodínách spustil minister Eštok kontroly na asi štvrtine priechodov s Maďarskom. Celá akcia trvala skoro 2 hodiny!
Pašeráci sa vyjadrili, že toto bol pre nich obrovský úder, pretože niektorí museli zmeniť trasu a prejsť iným nestráženým prechodom alebo čakať na benzinových pumpách až 2 hodiny!
Pašerák Karol: „Bolo to naozaj hrozné, mal som v dodávke asi 25 migrantov a mal som ich vyložiť hneď za hranicou, no keď som videl, že Eštok si tam točí video, museli sme sa vrátiť na blízku benzinovú stanicu, dať si kávu a čakať skoro 2 hodiny kým Eštok odíde a prešli sme až potom. Manželke som povedal, že budem doma o polnoci a kvôli Eštokovi som prišiel domov až okolo druhej v noci, bolo to peklo.“
Minister vnútra Eštok sa na svojom facebookovom profile vyjadril, že za 2 hodiny nikoho nechytili a tak zvažuje, že možno niekedy v budúcnosti spravia takúto kontrolu na 3 hodiny a uvidia či výsledky budú lepšie.
