Samotný parazit sa nemôže Covidom nakaziť, pretože je spravidla silnejší ako vírus. Práve preto ľudia, ktorí parazitujú na štátnom rozpočte najdlhšie, väčšinou prekonajú infekciu bez príznakov, prípadne len s miernymi ťažkosťami.
