V piatok médiá obletela fotka, na ktorej si Juraj Blanár (SMER-SSD) podal ruku s ruským ministrom zahraničných vecí Sergeiom Lavrovom. Opozícia okamžite začala kritizovať stranu SMER-SSD, ako aj samotného Blanára (SMER-SSD).
Liberálne médiá doslova šaleli a predbiehali sa v urážkach a označovaní pána Blanára (SMER-SSD) za proruského trola, schvaľovača vojny, zradcu, či dokonca nesvojprávneho kkta ! A tvrdili, že toto stretnutie neposunulo konflikt bližšie k mieru.
Nechutné urážky však teraz vystriedal šok a údiv, pretože sa zdá, že liberáli podcenili vyjednávačské schopnosti Juraja Blanára (SMER-SSD). Podľa nezverejnených informácii, pán Blanár mal počas stretnutia povedať Lavorovi, že Slovensko by si želalo mier a pokoj. Potom však podľa vlastných slov na to zabudol a nepovedal to.
Lavrov však údajne následne zachytil v médiách, že pán Blanár, ako aj strana Smer-SSD je za mier a nie za vojnu. Bol údajne prekvapený, že v médiách často opakujú, že chcú mier, ale nikto z nich nikdy to nikdy nepovedal žiadnemu ruskému diplomatovi. Lavrov údajne povedal, že to mohli povedať skôr, pretože to nemal odkiaľ vedieť.
Dnes tak začali Rusi vo veľkom sťahovať z Ukrajiny vojakov a vojenskú techniku. Podľa ruských médií je to predovšetkým zásluha slovenskej diplomacie. Pán Juraj Blanár (SMER-SSD) údajne pomohol presvedčiť Rusov, že ničenie miest a zabíjanie civilistov nemá zmysel a mali by začať viesť mierovú politiku, ako to robí pán Blanár (SMER-SSD).
